LAMETTINO CAPRIANO DEL COLLE MARZEMINO  D.O.C.

Grapes: Marzemino.

Vinification: Marzemino are brought in small crates to the cellar for immediate dissemination and crushing. The must is left in contact with the skins and pips throughout the fermentation process to help extract colour, aromas and structure for a variable period of time (from 10 to 30 days or more) according to the year’s harvest. The fermentation is conducted at a temperature of approximately 25°C; followed by the separation of the wine from the skin and pips. Subsequently follows an ageing on lees for the whole of the winter period. Before commercialization the wine is refined in bottle in an acclimatized environment for a period of at least 90 days.

Colour: Ruby red with pronounced purple hues.

Nose: Predominant aromas of violet, cherry and black cherry.

Mouth: Pleasant fresh sensation of red currant, raspberry and cherry fills the mouth in a clean fruity manner. Surprisely elegant and refined the smoothness .
